Con-Way delivered my airframe kit today! I wasn't sure what would be involved in getting it off the truck.
The total weight of the shipment is about 700 pounds. My son, Ryan, and my father-in-law, Ron, assisted me with the unload. The truck
driver was also very helpful. (Thanks guys!) The whole unload process only took us about 5 minutes.(And, yes, I did help!). As
the old saying goes, "Many hands make light work." The whole shipment arrived in such good shape you would never guess it came all
the way from Wisconsin!
"Hey! Put that stupid camera down and get over here and help us unload this thing!"
Here is a photo of how the shipment looked on the truck prior to off-loading. Many of the boxes were large and bulky but very manageable. The pallet was the heaviest item, but with three of us, it came off the truck pretty easy. Later, as I opened everything, I could see the superb job that Sonex did with packing all the parts. Nothing was left to chance.
